Most likely, you’ve heard of Twitter, a widely popular social networking and microblogging service that allows users to send and receive messages called tweets, text-based posts of up to 140-characters. Since its invention in 2006, the free service has gained popularity worldwide, and now Westcott Homes has decided to try it for ourselves.
Why we use Twitter
At Westcott Homes, we like to test things to discover their worth. That’s why we’ve decided to give Twitter a try.
Ideally, we would like to use Twitter as a tool to inform not to sell. We believe that if we can use it in a way that provides customers with valuable information, then we’ll have a much better response then if we use it as free advertising space.
Why we don’t use Twitter very much (yet)
Currently, we’re still learning the intricacies of Twitter and how to use it effectively. For this reason, we have not started tweeting heavily yet.
Maybe you can help.
