Fall In Love with Our Homes

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Here at Westcott Homes we take pride in building homes that our buyers can truly enjoy and cherish for years to come.  Throughout all of the planning and preparing for a new plat or neighborhood, we take into consideration many different components.  One of our main considerations of course is the opinions of our buyers from previous communities; their feedback is so important to us and has a strong effect on the future of our home plans, location choices, interior selections and more.

Dream Homes at May’s Ridge

At May’s Ridge, we have built a community that is nestled along a quiet treed street in the Renton highlands.  This community was built with those in mind that prefer spacious floor plans and a remarkable and private setting for their home.  Our attention to detail and to our buyer’s needs and dreams can be seen throughout the neighborhood.  Here’s what one of our May’s Ridge Home Owners had to say about their new home:

“We are so pleased with our brand new home!  We absolutely love the floorplan and the detail and design throughout the home!  We are impressed with how timely the house was completed and the knowledge of Robin and DW when they were giving our walk through.  We are in love with our new house and all our visitors are impressed with our home and the May’s Ridge neighborhood!  We highly recommend Westcott Homes!”     – A. Jacobson

If you find yourself wishing that you were one of the lucky home owners at May’s Ridge, there is no reason to wait any longer.  We’ve already sold 22 out of 27 homes in this community but, that means that there are still 5 homes left.  Click here to view our available homes at May’s Ridge.

Our Standards Are Their Upgrades

Monday, May 10th, 2010

At Westcott Homes we believe that our customers should be able to move into their new home without having to remodel immediately and without having to pay extra for the privilege.  That’s why our homes come standard with many amenities that other home builders consider upgrades.

Westcott Homes’ standards are sure to knock your socks off.  And, not to worry, they won’t empty your pocketbook.  Whereas, with our competitors, buyers can expect to pay upwards of $20,000 just to upgrade their homes to our standards!

The Difference Is Noticeable

Our buyers love the fact that even without paying for costly extras, their homes are move-in ready when delivered.  Real hardwood entries and stainless steel appliances are just a few of the amenities our current communities* come standard with.  Our competitors can’t compete with our pricing and value.

While our competitors are promoting their “Move-In Packages” that offer only some of the items that we provide as standards, we can focus on providing our customers with unparalleled quality and value.

What Do We Offer?

All of our houses include features that have been carefully engineered to appeal to today’s savvy buyers.  You will find these features in our current communities:

Living In Renton

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

Westcott Homes’ Langley Meadows is located in the City of Renton on the southeast shore of Lake Washington. Located 13 miles southeast of Seattle, Renton offers inhabitants an escape from the big city while maintaining many of its conveniences.

Currently, Renton is home to over 82,000 people, making it the 11th largest city in Washington and the 5th largest in King County.

History of Renton

The City of Renton started as a coal mining town in 1873 when the Renton Coal Company, backed by Captain William Renton, organized.

Finally, on September 6, 1901, the town was incorporated, and Dr. Abijah Ives Beach, a physician who provided care for the coal miners, took over as the first mayor.

During World War II, Boeing selected Renton for a plant that would produce B-29s for the military. The new plant brought thousands seeking employment and the city grew to become what it is today.

Recreation in Renton

Renton has more than 29 beautifully maintained parks and trails to explore.

In fact, Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park on Lake Washington was voted one of the top five parks in the Seattle area for children by the Seattle Times.

Renton also offers an 18-hole golf course, a skate park, a community center, a neighborhood center, a senior center, two libraries, and a history museum.

Arts and Entertainment

The Renton community supports a vast array of public and private arts and entertainment, including three performing arts centers, the Renton City Concert Band, and Renton Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Shopping

If you’re looking for a day out on the town, Renton has all that you’ll need. The city supports a wide range of shopping destinations including an antique district and Washington State’s only IKEA.
