History & Mission
In the year 2000, Westcott Homes started building in the Puget Sound region. Since then, we’ve built over 900 homes in more than 20 communities. This year we’ll be surpassing 1,000 homes.
Today, we work out of Bothell, WA where our headquarters has been for the last three years.
Our Mission
From the start, we’ve worked toward our goals with a clear vision that was laid out thoughtfully in our mission statement:
“Our mission is to develop communities that provide lasting value and pride for our customers, our business partners, and our company.”
Our Name
Customers often wonder about the origins of the name Westcott. Some people think the name references Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous Westcott house. Others assume we have something to do with Westcott Rulers, a national company that manufactures office supplies.
In reality, our company was named after a location in the Pacific Northwest that holds a special place in our owner’s heart, Westcott Bay near Friday Harbor. From the beginning Westcott Homes has been a company firmly rooted in Western Washington. We’re a local company with a local name. And we’re proud of that fact.
